Performances
Our greatest goal can be summarized in one desire: to be excellent for the glory of God. Our productions are all original and from the musical measures to the choreography they are inspired by the word of God and seek to mirror the beauty of Christ in each movement. We recognize that there is a certain fear in Christian dance regarding the technical part. However, we believe that technique comes from Him and that yes, the Lord is worthy of our best! That's why we seek to be excellent for the glory of God.
The Ballet Magnificat! believes that the love of Christ transforms. With each presentation, we can see the transformation that happens through the gospel. We have the privilege of performing on various types of stages, churches, hospitals, orphanages, indoor theaters and large festivals, seeking to reach the largest possible audience with the good news of the gospel through dance.
Workshops
We want to bring our remarkable classes to your city! We offer dance workshops with the same teachers and the standard of excellence present in our Training Program and School of Arts.
Whether to participate in a congress or event, to teach a single class or a day full of courses, we are available to contribute.
Below are the workshops and workshops we offer:
Classical Ballet
Perfecting the Classical Ballet technique, and what it means to be worshipers who dance. For children to adults, from basic/beginner to intermediate/advanced levels. At least 30 minutes for children, 50 minutes for adults, up to 1h30 in duration.
Needs: a room of at least 60m2, a smooth floor (no carpet/rug). Preferably have a bar and mirror. System/speaker with Bluetooth or aux cable.
Contemporary
A workshop that explores movement that goes beyond Classical Ballet, providing more freedom in dance, benefiting both ministerial dance and classical dance. From 50 minutes to 1h30 in duration.
Needs: a room of at least 60m2, a smooth floor (no carpet/rug). System/speaker with Bluetooth or aux cable.
Cleaning Choreography
Very popular with leaders and other members of dance groups, whether other companies, groups, gyms or church ministries. The workshop goes through the process of cleaning/preparing for your presentation. We emphasize why it is important to clean up choreography and present a job well done, and how to achieve this excellence in a way that is uplifting, encouraging, and healthy for your group. Duration 50 to 90 minutes
Needs: a room of at least 60m2, a smooth floor (no carpet/rug). System/speaker with Bluetooth or aux cable.
Creative Worship
A time of worship to God guided by Him, taught through dance. It goes deeper into spontaneous dance, exploring how we can express our praise through movement individually as well as in a group. The theme varies. We have already covered topics such as: surrender, faith, identity in God, forgiveness, among others. If your event already has a specific theme, we conduct creative worship accordingly. Duration 50 to 90 minutes.
Needs: a room of at least 60m2, a smooth floor (no carpet/rug). System/speaker with Bluetooth or aux cable, microphone.
